The food we should all avoid
Plants make seeds to propagate, not for us to eat. In order to remove the oils from these seeds, we need high heat, toxic solvents and bleaching agents.
The highly processed oil that is produced is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, such as omega-6. Linoleic acid. In proportions that are magnitudes higher than what are ancestors ate a 100-years ago
These fats are highly unstable and reactive
Any heat causes them to release free radicals
Free radical damage in:
- Blood vessels –> Cardiovascular disease
- Skin –> Wrinkles
- Liver –> Fatty liver disease
- DNA –> Cancer
Those unstable fats, when incorporated into our membranes, make our cells more permeable. Our entire ability to generate energy is dependent on these gradients.
Seed oils make it harder for your cells to generate energyInstead use animal fats: Tallow, lard, butter. Or fruit oils: Coconut, avocado, olive oil
